Feeling very dizzy with heart palpitations

Hello Ladies,
Just wondering if it is normal at all to have lots and lots of heart palpitations during pregnancy? I am also very very light headed. I feel quite crapply... has anyone expereinced light headedness or palpitations during their pregnancies??:confused:

Yes and I was put on a heart monitor along with one for the baby, and monitored for a full day...

Came out to be nothing, but they wanted me to be monitored...

Hello Thanks for your reply! did u have the monitor on at the hospital or did u hire one? did u go to ur maternity hospital to get it checked out or just ur gp?

I called my local hospital, which is where I was having DS, and they told me to come down. And I was monitored by the hospital at the hospital.

Yes I have noticed I am getting the odd heart palpatations now and then also. Your dizzyness could be low blood pressure? But I have heard that our hearts are pumping a lot harder now with the extra workload of making our little baby grow. If you are concerned maybe see your GP?

I've had this a couple of times. It's worried me because I don't remember getting it when pregnant with Mason. I'm going to mention it to my Dr tomorrow and see what he says. Hopefully it's nothing serious :fingerscrossed:

Palpitations were one of my fisrt symptoms, before I even tested positive. They continued for about 3 weeks sometimes quite strong and at night I had problems sleeping becasue my heart felt like it was going nuts. The hospital did not seem concerned so I haven't really worried about it too much. It seems to have passed now and only every now and then i get a little twinge.
