Hi Girls!!

I've been trying to find a bassinette on ebay, but i'm not sure what i should be even looking for!

What brands do you guys think are worth getting? Or has anyone had a particular bassinette that they thought was great?

Thanks very much:flowerz:

Hope this helps :D

I had a love n care one that had lockable wheels - but they also folded up to be a rocker bit ...hard to explain.

After my first, I so did not bother with a bassinette. They are only in them for a little while and my DD HATED hers. She didn't settle till I swaddled her and put her in a snuggle bed (a sort of bed filled with tea tree fibres). Worked with the others too, so it was great! Really portable, too, and I could place it in the cot to get them used to a new sleeping environment. Was good for when they were sick as I could have them in the snuggle bed and in our bed at the same time.

Every child is different though so look around and try to ask as many questions from other mums as you can. Also, if you can borrow something, that saves HEAPS!

I did nto have one with DD, but i used a snuggle bed, that was fantastic:) but soemone stoll it!!!
So with DS ibrought a Love 'n' care one, it is great, with the caster etc, i made a point of getting a navy blue one so it could be used for boys and girls, and so far it has been used for both.

The only thing i dont like about the bassinette arangement is that it is really high, so in the middle of the night you have to get out of bed completely to get bubs, them hope back into bed to fed then get out again to bubs back to bed, just a though. this time i a going to put it on the floor at night:)

hey and dont forget, our grand parents (and many of our parent) slept in the bottom drawer with a pillow as a mattress, so babys will sleep where they feel comfy:)
