ok so just wondering if anyone has felt a beating in their stomach? I keep forgetting to ask OB. But when i try and feel bubby i can feel a very strong pulsing. It is defintely not my heart beat. It has been like this from about 12 weeks onwards. And from what i recall the placenta is on the back wall this time, so didnt think it would be that. But i definately didnt have it with DS and his placenta was on the front wall.
Is it normal?? Has anyone else had this??

I had it with my children. It's really quick like a rapid heart beat but it's the babies movement. I asked my ob who didn't know but he said lots of women say they feel it and their babies are born fine, as were mine. I researched it with dd2 coz I was really worried she could be having seizures. It's like a quick shaking.

Do a google on "fast feotal movements" You would really be surprised how many actually experience this.

Yep I had it too! I got really worried one night and called the midwives they had no idea what I was going on about but said it was most likely bubs movements and as long as I was getting 10 movements a day not to worry.....I only really noticed it at the end of my pregnancy and there is nothing wrong with my son

Dont worry about it, its all normal:)

I've been able to feel that with both of my pregnancies so far, all the way through, always wondered what it was too!!!! If I lay on my back I can even see my stomach pulsing. Must be normal :)

I sometimes get that now even when not pregnant:yes: its pretty normal I think its because of an artery or vein in your stomach that when pregnant the baby lays on.. hence it beats harder.. or something :o

Same Deb. I can see the pulsing too. I have assumed it is nothing to worry about, just had me curious because i didnt have it with DS but it is so prominent with this one.
I initially thought it may have been movements, but i can feel bigger movements at the same time too.
