no bleeding?

after a termination.
I was told by the clinic this is normal, but they never said how long no bleeding was normal for. I would have thought I would have been bleeding by now. It was done a couple of days ago and there hasn't been a drop of blood.
Is something wrong?

I'd pop along to the gp to just have a quick look over. I bled for about 2 weeks after my termination.

Am feeling mostly ok, have been a bit emotional with my DH today, but ok.
I have a little cramping. I just expected bleeding by now even just a little.

I think a good cry is always in order after things like this... (and a big glass of wine).

Yeah I know what you mean.
I am relieved now its done, but still feel slightly guilty.

Oh God, you poor thing. Sounds like you've had a lot on your plate. This is a great section to post, especially if/when you feel overwhelmed by the decision, or you feel sad or you need to talk with women who understand.

Just treat yourself gently over the coming months and try not to be too hard on yourself. :hugs:

Now I have the opposite problem, and I am bleeding heavily and its painful too. I rang the clinic and they said it was normal. I rang cos I soaked a pad in an hour, and they said to ring if that happened.

If you still feel it isnt quite right then head into your local hospital as its better to be checked & know all is ok .... AS horrible as it all may seem at this stage.

I know like susmama i bled fairly heavily for sometime afterwards & it was quite stressful especially when i had never even had a period that heavy ! But you do have to remember its your body getting back into gear so to speak.
