Anyone know what the cost is and would you be interested in meeting up there? I'm thinking not this week but next week on a Monday or Tuesday. I'm avoiding weekends at those places due to crowds, I don't handle large crowds too well just now :o but mid-week would be great. I'm not working Monday or Tuesday and have $20 that can be put away for this :smiliedance:

Not 100% sure of the price, think it'd probably be better to look it up on the net, but I know for an adult and a child it would be under $20, since I went there with DS and a friend, and it cost us $27 (they charge adults entry as well:rolleyes: -- like we're going to play on that playground or something!).

I'm pretty sure it'd be the same in North Queensland as well!

Its $3 for an adult and free for kids under..ummm...12 months i think it is, then its $7.90 for kids 1-3 during the week and $9.90 on the weekend and school/public holidays. If you hate crowds try Maze Mania during the week, kids prices are a little more (like 60c or something) but they dont charge for adults and everytime I have been to Lollipops it has been really crowded (except during lunch time as the mums take their kids home to sleep) I have been to maze mania during the week a couple of times and our group was like the only one of 2 groups there, very quite.

I was told it's $3 for adults but you get a tea or coffee too so I just see it as not so much a "free" tea or coffee, but one paid for on entry :D

Just don't know about the cost for children, should call them, but I'm still after someone to go with!

Thanks, I don't mean any sorts of crowds, just the type of crowds you'd expect on weekends and school holidays lol. She gets quite bored at Maze Mania, I think it's not very challenging for her or something. She prefers Freckles but we can't go to these places very often due to the money factor and thought it would be nice to try Lollipops and see what it's like.

Thanks for the response, very helpful. She's 4, turning 5 so I'll ring them and find out about what it would cost for her age.

Feel free to PM me if you wanna go (provided you live in TOwnsville of course hehehe...i need sleep)

Yes I'm in Townsville. And good on you for being able to be a SAHM, I wish that was a possibility for me because I hate having to leave my child. There's nothing wrong or lazy about staying home to raise kids! In fact, it's more exhausting and full-on to be home with kids than it is to be at work, even if you're with kids all day at work like I am. I'm ready to go back to work already, the dog and the child have worn me out this weekend! Bring on my lunch breaks and staff support

Wouldn't be this week as we have too much to cram into those 2 days already but the following week we're free. We're at swimming on Tuesday until 9:30 but it's about 10 before she's dressed, might be easier to make it afternoon. DD has no naps so we're flexible. Monday we're not doing anything. This week we're having people out to look at asbestos, have to arrange another gig for my little bro, got a school interview (yay!!!) and swimming lessons so a bit too much I think. Let me know anyway if you want to.

ETA: $11.90 for a child her age!

Hey again. I can do either day, but my little one does nap, usually between 11:30am and 2:00pm so after that if you want to do afternoons, or before say around the 9:30/10am mark if you wanna do morning. Either way im good.
