OK, I bought an ovulation test thingy with 7 tests. They have all come back negative, not even a hint of a line. I had one more left, and decided to test today, and I only dribbled a bit of wee on it (Sorry, TMI lol) and it came back with a very strong positive!!
So, I am assuming now is the best time to BD. Does a positive result mean that the egg is being released now? Or will I ovulate tomorrow??? How long does the LH surge last?
Also, is it ALWAys two weeks after ovulating that you get your AF???

congrats on your pos opk..'they' usually say that you ovulate within the pos -> 48hours after..
when i got my pos i bd the day before, day of my pos, and day after.
as for the luteal phase..time of o til af, yeah its usually about 2 weeks, but everyone is different..my lp's were anywhere from 11 days to 14 days in a cycle.
hope this helps in some way!
and BEST OF LUCK!!!!!!!

Thankyou! The thing is I didnt test yesterday or the day before so I am a bot worried that it could be the end of the surge and its too late? I am hoping for it to be the beginning!!
We BD not last night but the night before, and will tonight and tomorow- just not yesterday. I think though that even if I ovulated yesterday or the day before the spermies would have been there from the other night lol
Ahhhhh! Obsessing!
Hopefully the surge has just begun and I will ovulate tomorrow... I guess Ill know for sure in 2 weeks!

Thats true ringneck... if the LH was starting to decrease the testing line would be lighter than the control line, which would mean negative. And it was darker.
Im also getting pinching feelings in my side, which is a good sign!
PLeaseeee let it be this month!
