Meat Abattoirs - Melbourne?

I'm looking for somewhere to buy good quality meat in bulk and someone suggested a abattoirs that has a shop outlet, but they are interstate.

Can anyone recommend somewhere in melbourne at all?

I know of one in Berwick... very very good prices. I'd have to ask mum where the other ones are but there sure are a few around, maybe someone else will chime in with some others.

I dont know how to PM, but it's in Enterprise Avenue in Berwick right near the train line. Cant think of the name right now but it's on the left about 10 factories in. Parking is tough but you'll see all the people with trolleys FULL of meat!! They have butchers there who will cut things for you if you need it. The sign is in blue and white colours.

Berwick is fantastic. Cheap, fresh and they have a heap of variety.

Have you tried get fresh meats. I LOVE get fresh. I’m in Narre and go there once a week for fruit and vege and get my meat from there sometimes.
