Hi there,
I have been reading your messages for some time now and I thought that it was about time I registered and asked a few questions. I am currently 14 weeks pregnant and have not had any morning sickness. I must be one of the lucky ones, although I feel as though I have a stitch in my side - right side. Would that just be related to the baby growing or is it something that I should get checked out? Would be keen to hear from anyone who may feel the same.
Thanks, expecting_mum

I'm no Doctor, but You might just be stretching as your uterus is growing, I know with my first I got alot of pains from things stretching... I definately think you should see a Doctor just to be on the safe side though... Congratulations and all the best for the rest of your pregnancy :p

i agree with haana, talk to someone just to be sure, but i always experienced pains that felt like a bad stitch with all my pregnancies (the third was the worst-oh my gosh!) and apparently it is the uterus and stomach muscles stretching etc, good luck with your pregnancy! :)

Rang the OB and he said that it is nothing to worry about - prob just due to ligaments stretching and uterus moving etc.
Thanks for your reply's. As it is my first pregnancy you really don't know what to expect. Normally you would just ignore the aches and pains, but when you are pregnant, you always think the worst.
:) Thanks for the advise, expecting_mum

I have just found out that I am pregnant, first baby. I am sooooo scared of all the little pains you get. I think i am making myself worry too much about it but i can not help what i am feeling. What kind of abdo pain did everyone else get?

I often had crampy pains that felt a bit like a gassy stomach in my first trimester and I am now 20 weeks and have been having stitch like pains a bit recently if I am rushing around at the shops or something. The weirdest pain I get is if I blow my nose when I am lying down -it feels like I am tearing a muscle in my stomach area but it goes away. I am trying not to worry about it too much as I am sure it is all part of being pregnant (I had no warning pains or anything with my miscarriage so I'm thinking that maybe pains are a good thing - that's what I'm telling myself anyway).

11 weeks pregnant with my first baby and Im experiencing some pain on the lower back. My OB said its normal for as long as it is not that often. The cramps may also be due to the changes in our body but always take note of it so you can report it to your doctor on your next visit. I think we're super close now (me and my OB) because I pratically tell her every little thing that Im feeling. Better safe than sorry right?
Goodluck to all of us!
