I am 22 soon to be 23, My husband is 24. I had the implonon put in when i was 17, it got changed when i was 19 and then just before i was 21 i ended up in hospital as i started bleeding pretty badly it left me weak. they said the lining of my uterus collapsed. Since then i have used no form of contraceptive.. My husband and i have been trying for a baby since and i am yet to fall pregnant. The doctor said on the ovulation scale i am a 2 (I don't know what that means, except he said it means i didn't ovulate) He has me on Serophene 50mg that i take on day 2 thru to 6 of my cycle. If any one has any ideas or tips i would grately appreciate it.

First of all :hugs: as all of that must have been very hard to deal with.

secondly, you will find that there are many of us on here who have been trying to fall pregnant for months and years - the women on here are really good support.

thirdly, i'm on clomid, which i take days 2 - 6 as well (so im guessing they are similar). while on these tablets i dont smoke (not that i do anyway), drink, eat badly and i try to do 'it' every second day. thats all really we can do.

best of luck and i hope you bub shows up soon

Firstly - :hugs:

Serophene is also known as clomid - and is the first step most FS's take when you have ovulations problems.

Clomid helps by making your body produce more of the natural hormones at the right time. Clomid usually works best on people who dont ovulate on their own, so :fingerscrossed:

Are you being monitored? Normally you would have blood tests and scans to ensure that you are in fact ovulating etc....

The usual process is for 6 cycles of clomid. If it hasnt worked by then it isnt going to ...

Talk to the firls on the clomid support thread - they are wonderful and will be able to provide all the info and support you need
