Im booked to go to Belmont Birthing services in September and was wondering if anyone has had there babies there or know of anyone that has?

I had my first baby there in 2000. I think it has all changed now, but back then I thought it was great. I am due to have my 2nd bubs in October but because I am 'high risk' I think i have to go to John Hunter. I have to check it out with my OB an my next visit. Sorry I havent been much help have I!!?? I hope someone who has had a baby there more recently can help you!!

I have a 4 mth old who was born their and had an unbelievable experience. Each of the midwifes there I would of been 100% birthing with. It was such a relaxed experience.
I went in at around 10pm and was home before midnight. Let me know if you have an questions.

Gee that was weird seeing such and old thread of mine.
I had my DS2 who is 2 next week at BBS and am due to have another there in about 8weeks.
Glad you had such a great experience there as did I.
I love all the middies there, they are like family to me now...lol

Gee this is an old thread!!!
I'll answer anyway for anyone new.

I'm going through belmont this pregnancy to have a homebirth :fingerscrossed:.

I go there for my check-ups & it has the nicest atmosphere & all the mw's are soooo lovely... the rooms are pretty awesome too!!!

Congratulations on your pregnancy!!! :flowerz:

Oopsie dasiy I didn't take any notice of the year on the date of the original post :o. Glad to hear that other ppl have had
great experiences their too.

My sister *I think* has booked in there, she was tossing up between there and John Hunter??? I think that's what it's called.

From what I have heard, it sounds wonderful. I have been really encouraging her to birth there.:yes:
