Hi all,

Annika's birthday is coming up and we were thinking about something to help her a) stay in bed in the mornings! and b) learn to tell the time.

The Sleepytime Bunny Clock is available via ebay in the UK but I've heard its really, really shoddy ie falls apart. Anyone have any experience with it?

There is also a luminous/digital clock, the Kidsleep Night Light and Alarm Clock, but this won't help tell the time. But it is cute, and would help with the staying in bed. Any experience with THAT one?

Any alternatives I haven't been able to find?

All thoughts appreciated!

If you're looking for a clock with hands rather than a digital clock, Identity Direct have them.

I was looking to buy one of these bunny clocks too as my DD tends to be an early riser. I've only seen them on ebay, but it seems a little pricey once you add in the cost for postage. I was told they were available at ******* pronto (online baby store) but when I emailed them they told me they no longer stock the product. Does anyone else know where to purchase or has seen something else that might work?

I have got the bunny clock, I got it through the company you mentioned above.

We have given up on it though as dd (3) knows how to make the bunny wake up, sussed that very quickly and also as her room is dark she cant actually see if bunny is awake or asleep.

I keep meaning to buy a timer plug for her room light which I will set for the morning and teach her that she has to stay in bed until the light comes on. I am confident this will work

Good luck

Thanks Manxie, I might save my money as it sounds like my dd (also 3) would also work out the bunny clock pretty quickly! you're idea for a timer with a light sounds like a good idea though, I might give that a try!
