View Full Version : Brisbane May Dinner - Pickin' a Date.

So, for a more definate number.. let's go with this one.

The date will -probably- be somewhere between Wednesday the 17th and Saturday the 20th of May :D SO let's find out what's the deal.

I understand that for most, a Friday or Saturday night is more convenient, however for some they keep missing out because of commitments on Friday or Saturday.

So please answer the poll if you ARE considering coming. It's not a poll on preference but a poll on ability of a Wed or Thurs dinner. If there's a majority vote to "no" then we will have to go a weekend.

This post will be updated in a few days time, once as the details are nutted out.
If you are able to come on a Wednesday or Thursday, please let us know your preference, if at all :) k?

The venue has been discussed, in the interest of gate-crashers (or lack of) we're no longer publically speaking of it, drop me a PM and I'll let you know where it is. :chef:

Unfortunately I haven't been able to make it to the previous dinners (really sorry to have missed Azafran, as its one of my fave rest), so I really want to make this one. I can do either Weds or Thurs night, and am i on the right track with the venue.......do they serve pancakes?? Can Seekrit include me in the PMs for the confirmation of date/venue/time etc? Thanks and look forward to finally meeting all you fab bubhub Brissie mums!!

I don't think so Jessie and to be honest, who would want to gatecrash a dinner with a bunch of mum's and mum-to-be's? I think it's highly unlikely!
But i guess i understand the need to be careful, better safe than sorry hey?

I'm going to make a decision soon! by Friday afternoon I think. LOL

Gatecrashers aren't so much the concern. Some ladies write quite personal information on the forum, all of which can be googled from anywhere. A little bit of extra care just ensures that everyone here can have a great night and any tempted lurkers will go elsewhere for fun.:)

lots of the runny gooey stuff too, oh and ice cream and whipped cream.

I'm out on Monday - Wednesday of that week as DH is away:crying:

Looks like I have to make my own {insert type of food on offer at dinner venue here} !:)
