Hey all. Was cooking my daughter lunch today when I realized that she loves all my favourite foods. My favourite foods are spag.Bog, noodles & chocolate...ohhh & subway! They are all her favourite foods & if she sees them she will scream until she gets some too :D
Was wondering how is your child just like you?
I know my daughter also is like her dad they both refuse to sleep with a blanket on at night, they both kick it off & if i come in in the middle of the night & put it on her while sleeping she will wake right up & kick it off even if its cold...same goes with my partner!
Would love to hear what your bub does just like you or ur partner!

Vallerie snores just like DH. When they're both in bed before me, I go in and they're snoring in unison  (DH tells me I snore too, but I've never heard it so I don't believe him)

Vallerie eats marinated oysters, sardines, mussels, prawns, crayfish, pickled octopus, all that seafood and antipasto stuff. I can barely stomach battered fish from Barnacle Bills (I'm very much a land lubber) but DH loves all kinds of seafood.

my DS (2) looks in the fridge and goes 'Ummmmm????" after me who is always wondering what i should prepare. if you ask him a question, he starts the answer with 'ummmm.......' while he contemplate the answerafter me again.
he laughs at his own poopers , like his dad.

both my partner and i have bad sinuses and do a lot of nose-blowing. spencer loves pulling tissues out of the tissue box and pretending to blow his nose. too cute.

DD (2.5) disciplines the dogs in a very scarey imitation of my voice. She tells them to sit, stay etc. And apparently she had copied mine and DH's accent and says "about" and "out" just like a Canadian. I'm so proud! lol.

She also copies her dad when he fixes his bike.

DD smiles at everyone with this cheesy grin. My mum said that I did that all the time when I was DD's age.

She is now also at the stage where she copies everything I do, even right down to the face I may be pulling.

Babies are soooooo cute!

Hay Martha, my dad was Canadian. When my brother was little he had a problem with the muscle in his tounge, so he had to go to speech therapy to stretch it.
His speech therapist was Indian. So the poor kid had an Indian-Canadian accent...

What does my son do like me... well we sleep the same way, we have very similar facial expressions, we both like to live in our own little world and we have the same toes.

He looks just like his daddy though.

If my 3 yr old is talking to us and we dont hear him or we are busy talking to someone or doing something else, he will call us a few times and if we dont answer he stands there with his hands on his hips and says " Hey mum.. im talking to you"......... lol i guess he has been hearing that alot lately. #yrs olds and their selective hearing.

My DD and I (actually, my DD, I, and my Mum) all share the same wacky sense of humour.

DD will laugh at really stupid things, just like me (and just like my Mum), while DH sits there with a completely straight face wondering what the hell we are laughing at.

Actually, my Nanna (now passed away) also had this same sense of humour as well. I am sure it is something passed down through our family - or maybe it's a girl thing, who knows!!

My son is a clone of DH!!!

Seriously he is just like his daddy in every way- looks (except ds is white and dh is black:D ) personality, likes and dislikes (they both love sporty stuff and are very atheletic!)

Its actually really annoying coz instead of one active toddler I have two:rolleyes:  hahahahahaha

He gets his sensitvity from me and his stubborn streak....also his chubby wubby cheeks are definately mine:D

My 3 year old tells his father off for not putting away his coffee cup, then picks it up, sighing all the time, and places it on the kitchen bench. Just like me.

He also mutters "**** it!" more than a couple of times a day. Dare I say I'm responsible for that one too. Although I don't swear often, this phrase was muttered one particular episode after stubbing my toe. He has not let me forget it!
