The last 2 or 3 days DD has been doing really pale poos, someone said it's a sign of dehydration... Is that right? She did go through a stage of not drinking much about 4 or 5 days ago,and her nappies weren't very wet,but is drinking normally again now,and is happy etc.Should I be concerned?
Also ever since I started her on cows milk in her cereal, and a drink of it at lunchtime, her poos are always like a thick paste,no lumps or chunks (sorry tmi!),is that ok too,or is it a sign of cows milk intolerence...I did ask the doctor once and she said it was ok,but I guess I just want a second opinion.

I wouldn't worry too much about the colour of the poo - it can range from very light to dark to even a greenish colour. I think only if it were near black (which would indicate blood) would you need to be worried. If your baby is doing wet nappies then she is not dehydrated. My nurse told me you could tell if the baby is dehydrated by wet nappies. If the poo is in "pellets" (like little kangaroo poo!) they may be a little constipated and need water (or prune juice if severe). Your baby sounds fine from what you have said. Paste texture is nothing to worry about - it varies depending on diet. Besides your baby is happy and if something was really wrong you would know by her distress.
