hello all.
been lurking around here for a bit. i can't wait to really get to know every one:) .
i'm a sunshine coast mummy of 3 girls.
i'd really like to add an avatar to my bubhub identity but not sure how. i know about going to the control panel but i'm stumped on how i get the photo's on my computer to be the right size and then upload them? obviously i know NOTHING about computers!:o lol

any help appreciated:)

Hi Meme,
I'd love to help you on the avatar thing, but honestly I just fluked it myself. Somehow I got this wedding photo and a picture from an email to come up but none of my others will. Just keeping fiddling, that's how I got this one up. Good luck!

Hi there, I'm fairly sure the photos/pictures adjust themselves to the right size. If you go to control panel and click on Edit Avatar and then just follow the steps. I think I clicked on Browse once I was in there and found the picture i wanted in my computer and then selected it. I think that's what i did. I might be wrong, I can't remember that far back! (it was only 2 weeks ago :rolleyes: !!!)

Welcome to bubhub.

There are sites out there somewhere that will resize pictures for you. (just google it for image resize perhaps)

Or if you have paint, you can resize it using that (I'm not sure how, I dont use it myself, I use paintshop pro)

I think it's called 'being a mum' coz I wasn't like that until I was pregnant and now I still am!!! Somedays I even retrace my steps to figure out why I ended up where I was, then I remember and go back there and by the time I get back there, i've forgotten again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Scatterbrain - definitely!!

thanks guys. and:laughing: what was i doing.... oh yeh i'll just keep fiddling. i'm hoping i'll get to meet up with some bubhubbers in my local area one day and i'll have this long list of computer questions with me!:D
i wish i had this when i had my first bubba . it's great to have so much (almost) instant help and support.
