I've got quite a stash of bamboo baby beehinds which i love LOVE LOVE!! :goodvibes:
But... ya know, it's nice to try something different every now and then. I've tried peapods and fuzzibunz but haven't fond them anywhere near as good as the bbh.
So tell me about these new magicalls with the bamboo and the pocket. Are they really absorbant or do they leak everywhere? Are they trim? I'm really after something trim and the bbh are not especially trim. DH thinks we should stick with the same company since we are happy with their other products. Whadaya reckon??
Magicalls:  or

DF loves them bc they are so easy and like a sposie.
I say  for magic alls!

I came across some on eBay (discontinued line) they now have a newer version out with a pocket. Has anyone used the older 'discontinued' version, what are they like? I've never used MCN and was thinking of trialling some on my 21mo DS for day time.

no worries.. i stocked up in mediums for harlan when i saw them there too :D
the new ones are fab. I get up to 4 hours from them esp if I put a GK booster in the back. Even without that and using the BB one that comes with the nappy, they last almost as long and are an excellent nappy.
They are the first I reach for when I am changing before naptime now.
love em, love em, love em.

:thumbsdown:I must be the odd one out but I have a couple I bought but didn't like (the older version) 'cos the velcro tabs are half the size of the ones on the BBH nappy covers I usually use and they came undone on my toddler.
I actually wrote to complain and hope they've fixed them for the newer version.

The old ones are great too.
I love both the new and old versions, but I have the champion wetter (better than a garden sprinkler) so I do use extra boosters in both versions to make them last (without then, he leaks through the supposedly waterproof external covering).
BBH also sell a single layer microfleece liner - these work a treat in the MAgicalls - and they are a great going out nappy.
BUT if you can afford to pay the bit extra, the Bumgenius are also a great AIO cloth nappy - and they are a trim OSFA nappy, so may represent better value for money?
I use them on my 18mo and I can get up to four hours in them also. However I have the old type and I boost them with two BB bamboo wipes. Am planning on cutting wholes in my old ones and making them like the new ones, and making my own bamboo boosters ... or just continue to use the wipes!

I really love my Magic-alls.
I only use them for day nappies though. I need a super nappy for night.
I find that I use the extra booster for the morning and not for the rest of the day.
They are soft and trim. I wish I had more;)

I have 4 of the new ones and they are the first nappy I grab when changing my son. I have bumgenius, swaddlebees happy heiny and terry squares and I love the magicalls the best.

I use the older style Magic-Alls and the even older Wonderworks as my workhorse nappies. I do have to boost them though, so they are exactly the same as the newer style (minus the snaps) and the boosters just go inside the nappy instead of the pocket at the back. Mine last about 3 hours.
A brand new Minkee Magic-All is due to be released in July - I'm hanging out for that! Can't wait! :smiliedance:

Big fat  from me..
Which im really :hissy: about as they are a good fit and great price and i loved the old ones.. but the new ones are awful..
Not absorbent and take forever to dry. My GK bamboos dry quicker and are 100 times more absorbent.
It's great others love them though cos they really are well made, great service, and a fantastic priced nappy's.. i just don't rate the new ones at all..
