making bread

Does anyone have tips or suggestions for having a toddler help with making bread? I know DD (2.5) will love to help with stirring, but what else can she do? If I give her a little piece of the dough to knead does it matter if she tastes some of it? (I'm guessing not).

I love making bread, I haven't in SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long tho'!

Give her something to knead :D to muck about with! once as it's all in the loaf pan have her help you put stuff on top (like cheese, herbs, seads :D)

..I wonder how much she'd like to have a mini bread board and make a mini bread beside mummy's big breadboard and big bread! :smiliedance:

I think I'm a bit nervous of the potential mess of flour all over the kitchen Seekrit! I was thinking of it this afternoon, cause we're out of bread and I can't be bothered goiing to the shops, lol. But might wait till another day and do the first bit and rising while she has her nap.
