New Petition to Re-Open Rosebud Birthing Unit

Hi ladies!!!!

I was just reading our local paper and i noticed a new petition to re-open the rosebud birthing unit.

For those of you who dont know Rosebud birthing unit was closed in april 2007, and since then there have been a number of women who have had to give birth in an ambulance, or on the side of the road in a car.

This is something that does personally affect me as i now have to drive to frankston to give birth, alot of women will have to travel further than me, leaving them with an hour drive.

Please can everyone sign this online petition!!

Thanks for letting me know about the petition cause I'm due in March 10 and have had to go to Frankston for my last 2 (rosebud section of frankston). I go to the midwifes at Rosebud and plan to go there for my next as well. Here's hopeing we can get Rosebud up and going again!!:thumbsup:
