DS talks himself to sleep!

My 4 month old DS has just started talking himself to sleep. He doesnt do it all the time, probably only once or twice a day but it is so cute!

I was on bub hub (something different!) and could hear DS chatting away to himself in the lounge. I went in to check on him and his eyes were shut and the chatting was dwindling off. Within 5 minutes he was fast asleep. He has done it a few times in the morning to. I hear him wake up (he wakes up and talks until we go & get him) but after about 10 minutes of chatter it goes quiet. I check on him and he is fast asleep.

I think the sound of his own voice soothes him!

Andrew does this too sometimes - just gorgeous isn't it! Sometimes in the middle of the night he'll start up and I'll just lie in bed listening to him on the baby monitor and giggling my head off :laughing:

Sure beats the sound of listening to my husband snoring :rolleyes:

ds2 does that in the car... sings himself to sleep.... well... hums...lol
