How many naps do I really need??

I'm trying to figure out right now how many cloth nappies I really need.

at the sydney pbc expo I bought 8 but waiting for 2 still to arrive soooooooooo I've been using 6 which last like a day
and then the next day I'm using disposables waiting for the nappies to dry which takes a day and a half.

So I guess I need another 4 or 6 or 7???
I'm not sure, any ideas anyone?

im buying 30 nappies i think 25 to 30 nappies is a good number fr one child. but this is comping from a bum to be for the first time so i have no experience in this but from what i read and what i am told 25- 30 is a good amount. taking in drying time, weather, and time to actually wash when u are busy with a bubs.

It depends on so many things like how old you bubs is, how heavy a wetter, etc.

For s settled baby (4 months and over) I think the minimum comfortable number for day is 14 plus 4 for night time. So I would say 18 minimum.

But 20 - 25 is more fun :D

i have 20 and i have flats, generally i could go without washing everyday but i like to make sure i wash daily so if its bad weather i have a days worth there still :) i also use my flats for short nappy stints before the bath or a quick change etc and i havent ran out yet

You can tell I'm a newbie at this can't you but I love the MCN's.

DD is now 11mths old and she's a heavy wetter so I've got bitti d'lish snap ins and the bamboo mini booster works well too
so I have all the colours except red and brown so I'm gonna get those two and then purchase the rest as snap in's halving the price and mini boosters for each MCN

joy2me that sounds great I have just ordered 13 Bitti Dlish as they are fab and the snap ins are great because you can just change the boosters if there is no poo kwim.
