acrylic wool

MIL knitted a couple of longies but she did it in acrylic wool. Will this work the same or not?

Thanks. I thought as much. They'll make beautiful pants anyway with a PUL cover underneath. MIL will just have to keep knitting :yelclap:

They can work for some people depending on the wool thickness and knitting but they need regular washing like other covers. :)

My granny did the same. She knitted about 15 all up and all with acrylic wool.

I used them in summer over a fitted but with nothing else on and they were okay. Oh and I always make sure they are on display when granny comes over.:D

I couldnt tell her that she used the wrong wool so now I just buy it myself and give it to her.
