Hi, I am a 26 year old mum of a nearly 2 year old boy and we live together in Fairfield Vic. I have tried to join various mums group but always feel a bit left out because the average age of the mums has been about 35. I would be interested in a catch with other young mums and their children from the area.

Another young Mummy struggling to fit into mothers groups!
I am 23 and have a 3 month old little girl.. Have stopped attending my local mothers group as the average age there is 35 plus, and while I have no problem with older friends sometimes its noce to interact with people that are in the same situation..
I live in North Fitzroy if anyone is interested ina catch up sometime.

Hi everyone
A couple of us are trying to organise a group meet-up as Nix06 said earlier hopefully on Feb 7th. We are thinking maybe the park in Bundoora? It is near the shopping centre there off Plenty Road & have a playground for the kids, undercover tables, bbq's so it should be a good place?
If you fancy coming just email me & i can give you directions.
:):) The more the merrier!

hi guys,
my name is courtney im 22 and have a 2 year old daughter. recently moved to melbourne from sydney and am looking for mothers with similar interests as myself. its hard not having my friends and family here and really want to start meeting some mothers. i have always avoided mothers groups because of clicky older mums but i need to find some mums my age with children.

Oh yess i definitely know the feeling about playgroups. DS attended a playgroup at teh end of last year suppose to be for a term but we only stayed for 2 weeks max..Dnt get me wrong the other mums was really nice and DS was having a ball with his new friends however, they were older than i was so it was hard to start any conversations or keep a conversation going...in the end yeah..i kinda got bored myself. I know its not about me but teh whole point of a playgroup is to interact with other mums coz' since i had my 2 kids my 'so-called' friends have slowly faded, but i ended up hanging out with my DS outside ratehr than joining them for coffeee inside....lolz...so im from south east suburbs melb..im 25 and DS is 2 and DD is 9 months... feel free to pm me.. :ecomcity:
