Thank you all so much for making such an effort today - weather and all from what I understand in a few locations. It was a huge success and I hope everyone had a great time!

The Brissie gathering was smaller than expected .. (there was a MASSIVE list of people who had rsvped .. ... but the quality of the company was fantastic :laughing:)

we had really yummy cake .. and LOTS of chatter .. the kids had a ball :D

I would certainly love to go again next year .. even with the rainy weather .. :yes:

gifted, talented, smart, clever, gorgeous ..:D but CERTAINLY not perfect :p (this is the child who loves to turn to me mid arguement and shout - "you a child .. me a grown up .. you go time out not me" .. sigh .. definitely NOT perfect :p ) he DOES however most nights sleep twice the hours that Gwen does .. I still dont know how you (and Wendy) are alive ..

Far too many. It would be about 15, if you don't count things like that ridiculous 3 minute doze she did at the museum today.

She's on my lap at the moment, whacking me with a rattle. At least she's not crying any more and it's "ok" for me to sit down.

She FINALLY caved about midnight or a bit passed, and only woke once in the night for a feed.

She woke up again this morning about 7am, and has just gone back to bed - without a murmur of complaint!!! It's so hard to fathom sometimes. In the mornings (when we are at home) she goes down for a nap so easily it's almost scary.

I don't do anything different at night... and yikes!

Anyhow, enough moaning from me. PHOTOS LEENY!!!:laughing:

Not long enough, I tell you!!

She's hardly made up for it today either. Two naps of about 45 minutes during the day. She's down now, and has been for an hour - it's the best sleep she's had all day, though I dare not wake her up.

At least this way she'll (hopefully!!) be cheerful and awake all evening, as opposed to feral and awake all evening.
