Hey,
Was wondering if any UK mums (or any other mums who are keen to meet people), would be interested in meeting up in a Brisbane park over the next couple of weeks? I have just moved from Adelaide to Brisbane, (originally from East London) and am keen to meet some mums (from anywhere but I do miss the English humour so could do with a fix! )
Any suggestions welcome, my DD is 14 months old and I am a young 30 something.
Arvos are much better for us - Monday, Thursday or Friday if possible...
Hope to hear from you!
Sarah
Bit too far for me :)
I am not sure how many brits on here are in brissy but maybe you could check out the Brisbane section too. :)
Hope you have a great time if you have a meet up :)

HI
hi Sarah (my name Sarah too) I'm from uk also came over in december with my fella (he is an ozzy) and feeling a bit lost dont really know many people yet. Yeah I miss the humour also, missing alot from uk at the minute but I'm sure it will pass. I do love it here though. How you finding it? Where about near Brisbane do you live? We live Northside. Any way if your interested in having a day shopping or at south bank with the kids let me know. My daughter is 10 months old.

Hi ladies
I'm an expat from Grove Park SE London, living in Adelaide but coming over to Brissy for a few days in about a weeks time. Looking to meet up with some mums on Sat 5th July, will need to be central based cause I will be relying on taxis/public transport.
Anyone free ?

Hey Sarah
Just moved from Adelaide too after 3 years of living there. Enjoying Brissy so far and also eager to meet up with other mums. First bub due Jan 12th and husband FIFO to mine site. Working at the moment, but finish up beginning of December. Do you have a group that meets up?
Can you cope with a Welsh sense of humour though...?!

Hi there
I'm just having a sort out of my e-mails and came across your thread. I'm originally form the North East of England and have lived in Bulimba for 18 months. I have a little girl whose just over 2.
I'd be keen to meet up for a chit-chat - it's always good to meet other people, especially since we're in the same area.
You've probably either just had your baby or about to have you baby by now. Just drop me a line when you feel up to it and we can arrange something.
Dianne
