Hi, anyone using fertility friend online? I only joined it a week ago and even after reading info etc I am still having trouble understanding my chart... sorry i know i'm stupid sometimes lol

On my chart with the green circles which is Forecasted Fertile Days that is not the actual day I O is it?
The actual day that i O and the egg is there is on that day marked with a yellow circle Forecasted Possible Ovulation Days?
Sorry if this is a stupid question. I just have never tracked my cycle until i was told i had PCOS now its all learning lol
My cycle from april to may was 40 days... that can't be good.

Hi Bev,

I've only been using it for the past 4 cycles so am by way no expert but I believe the days that are coloured green are possible fertile days, meaning you should start to get watery cervical mucas and start bd'ing as its not long till an egg will be released.

The days that are forecasted ovulation days are the days that FF things you may ovulate e.g. have a temperature dip followed by 3 high temps (Thats what represents ovulation), along with eggwhite cervical mucas. When you have the temperature dip, that is generally the day prior to ovulation and you can expect that you ovulated the next day providing you record 3 higher temperatures in the 3 days after.

You could also use OPK's, so you would start using them on the start of that possible fertile patch and you will slowly see the line get darker each day until it's as dark as the control line and that also represents ovulation is about to occur.

So to recognise O, your looking for:

- Temperature dip
- egg white cervical mucas texture
- positive OPK
- Possible ovulation pains

Goodluck, please feel free to PM me if I can help in anyway with FF. :D

hi, maybe babys are good, but quite confusing, and not always reliable.
I would be temping with an ovulation thermometer (same time each morning, before get out of bed), and checking your cm daily at the same time.

i took this month off temping and using the maybe baby, i used a digital ovulation test instead, and bd'd the day before, day of ovulation, and day after, and just got my :bfp: after 18 months! :D

good luck, lots of babydust :babydust2:
