lanolin?

where do i get some from i was told to go to the chemist but the ones i went to today all offered me stuff for cracked nipples and i dont think this will work on my longies

Sorry I can;t help .. I would have said chemist ... Paw Paw is also a good alternative and you get that at the chemist ... I am sure I have got lanoline from the chemist previously ?

the stuff for cracked nipples is the stuff you are after!
its called lanisloh or something like that

its pure lanolin.

all you do it dissolve a pea size amount in hot water and then add cold until its warm then soak your woolies in that :)

paw paw ointment wouldnt be good for lanolisng woolies. wouldnt make them water proof. great for sore bums though.

if you dont want to use that you can get liquid lanolin online at most places you buy your nappies from.

You can get lanolin hand cream from the chemist. Just look in that section. Not sure if it is a pure form though.

longies are hand knitted wool pants/covers to go over cloth nappies
hand cream wouldnt be god on them either

I got some from the health food shop. They had to order it in, about $16 for 100g which I think works out a bit cheaper than lansinoh

thanks for that i was not sure about the stuff from the chemist but the pack said it was lanolin but just didnt want to get it then find out was not the right thing

Same stuff, but I think one is an overseas brand, one is Australian (can't remember which though!). Better to get the aussie one!

helps to ad a drop or two of baby shampoo when you dissolve it in the hot water.
