Hi all,
I hope we are all doing well.
I was just wondering whether anyone is having longer stretches of quiet time from baby that usual?
Grub's been a lot quieter than usual over the last few days and it didn't wake up at all this morning until I got to work and inflicted a cup of black tea on it. I was fairly peaking until I got that first wiggle thump! :o

Hi Grubincubator,

I would have to agree....I find that baby is not as active at times... more so in the morning...she wont wake up until I'm at work on the way to work....

I have also noticed that I'm not getting as much kicking - I'm getting more rolling movements and stuff....

Best of luck...

marilyn. :D

Hi

Iv found that as soon as i wake up bubs says hello with a few really good kicks and maybe a jump on my bladder(if im lucky) and them it goes back to sleep for a while until i have a shower or a hot cup of tea then i get some more movements.

I guess with my bubs it really depends on how im feeling as to the type of movements i feel. If im laying awake in bed and thinking about how he/she will look and all of those loving thoughts i get lots of big strong movements but if im having a stress that the pram still hasnt arrived then the movements tend to be smaller or not there at all?? Could just be me, im not sure :D

I think you might jus have a bubs that likes a sleep in lol! Lets hope that lasts ;)

All the best jes :)

Hello

Just read your thread and was quite glad that you wrote it. I am 30+4 weeks and have been getting less movement - move fluttering like in the beginning and was getting a bit concerned, knowing that you all are getting the same is reassuring - thanks
Emily

Yes I definitely have fewer movements these days. Some of them are slow squirms and wriggles - I guess we're running out of room in there :-)

We still occasionally go ape with multiple punches and kicks all at once. It's really funny watching the belly convulsions that go with them.

Me too, definately less movement. I had a visit with my midwife last night and she informed me that there is less room, so therefore less movement.

The tummy shapes are hilarious, I was on the computer the other day and slightly resting my forearm on the side of my belly when it was quite rudely pushed away. Again, room must be a maximum commodity in there now! Cheeky little bub.
