I'm pregnant with my first and after the initial shock (which lasted 3 months) I'm really enjoying my pregnancy!
I LOVE how everyone fusses over you and is way more nicer than usual. I love how I can do no wrong in my partners eyes because I'm carrying his son (he doesn't even mind when I go abit stupid with the credit card). I love feeling my boy try and boot his way out of me at 5am. I also love eating without feeling guilty!
I do believe I'll miss it in the end :)

 I do believe I will miss it
I missed the pregnancy after a horrible horrible 9 months with DD then when I had her I would always look at preggy women out in public and think gee I miss my baby growing inside me and holding my bump all the time
It doesnt last long so I'm enjoying it while I can

:wave:Hi, sorry to jump in your due area but i had too
Im abit different then because i wont miss pregnancy...........parts of it yes. Like was said, the kicking, also excitment, unknown, the bond that comes from taking this journey with my hubby, knowing my little man before everyone else.
BUT....... the will not miss list is much larger for me. Constipation, headaches, feet/hands swelling, cramps in legs/jina/hips, restless sleeps, the constant peeing, occasional evening drink not allowed, not eating certain foods OMG the list goes on........!!!
Sorry ladies.....i will admit its a magical time but for me its a testing one too. :dizzy: Lol. Good on you's its lovely to hear.

I think I will miss it, but I am already listing the ailments that I am looking forward to not having anymore once the baby is in the living world. I am enjoying having something growing inside me though (and the extra nice things people do for me!).:)
Like you Danni, I have to say I wont miss it.
I really hate the lack of sleep & discomfort (pelvic instability), the weight gain is just painful to look at & the way ppl make me feel, they keep asking me personal stuff, keep rubbing my belly. I like it when someone wants to give me their seat on the train but when I've got only two stops I hate it when they argue with me.
I love being pregnant in my alone time with DD & DH, I love feeling her move & I love it more when I get more attention from DH when she wants to move for him. I really can't wait to have her & wont miss her being in my tummy as she'll be in my arms.

I think I complained through most of my pregnancy with DD lol, but a few months after she was born I was missing being pregnant!. And I do love it when they first come into the world and you think they are the most wonderfull thing in the world and all the pain was worth it!.
This time Ive enjoyed my pregnancy a lot more!!, I had a shock when I first found out cause DD was only 6 months old at the time!, but I got used to the idea quickly and im enjoying all the kicking bubs is doing, and even though Ive had a sore back, legs and pelvis im still pretty happy about it . Cant wait to hold this bubs too :cloud9:
This is a good question.
I think for the first time i may miss some of it. During DD pregnancy, i did not enjoy it for no reason except the split pelvis. and i loved having her earthside:)
With DS i had a very trying pregnancy with an operation, my pelvis being beyond the joke etc. and on top of that for soem reason he did not move nearly at all after about 20 weeks, so i did nto have any of the joy :(
This time, i am getting treatment for the pelvis and my kidneys seem to be doing ok:) and this littel guy can kick like a champ, and since i am not seeing drs all the time i am enjoying my time with him alot more.
The only thing i would change next time is i would not have a scan, as i was enjoying it alot more before the scan (obviously that is a personal thing for me)
gee i can chat, but over all i think i may just miss this pregnancy, maybe you should ask me again in about 2 1/2 mths time!

Pregnancy is definitely an adventure! I can't answer the question honestly until after the birth. So far I'm hanging in there and enjoying my round belly, but i also worry alot..if it all goes wonderfully well..I might miss it and get pregnant again:p

I think I will miss this pregnancy once DD is here. I don't think I will miss it as much as I did when I was pregnant with DS. I love being pregnant but this time round I haven't had as much time to enjoy it as I did with DS as I am now chasing after an active toddler as well as working Part time the only time I really remember I'm actually pregnant is when I get some down time of an evening once DS is in bed fast
I love the movements & will definitely miss that as that was the main thing I missed after having DS.

I must be one of the rare women who don't like being pg so I won't miss it at all. The only thing I do actually enjoy is feeling bub move (as long as it's not stuck under my ribs or something similar). This being #4 and an Oops baby, I won't be getting clucky again at all....plus DP is getting the snip before Baby Oops is born so we will be safe from any more additions to our family. 4 is definitely enough for me!
:hugs:

P.S. I hope that doesn't come across as me sounding non-maternal cos I am most definitely very maternal.

Actually, there are alot of things I won't miss either now come to think about it. After another (pretty boring) weekend I've decided....
I'd like to be able to have a couple of drinks, not to get really drunk, but just to enjoy a nice warm buzz. I'm looking forward to getting my figure back. And even though I like how people make me feel special being pregnant... I won't miss being the "pregnant one!". Oh and I won't miss having to sleep on my sides all the time, and getting cramps in my hips because of it.
My head's all over the place :)

Sorry to butt into your thread (normally I'm over in Due Jan) but I saw the title & thought I'd post.
I vividly recall bursting into tears in the shower after I got home from the hospital after having my last bub. Shower time was when he'd kick up a storm in the mornings & I'd talk away to him & he'd kick back. It was lovely. And even though he was quietly asleep in the next room, I really missed having that special time with him.
Of course, I didn't miss the constant heartburn or the carpal tunnel syndrome or the sleepless nights from going to the loo all the time & not being able to lie down comfortably, etc...but I did miss that special connection you have with your unborn bubs that no one else can experience.
Enjoy your pregnancy, ladies & all the best for Sept!

I think I will.
I am loving it. And I thought I hated pregnancy!

My answer right now is probably no - I won't miss it. This is my third pregnancy since I fell pregnant with DD is September 2004, so I've been pregnant or breastfeeding since then - 3 years and 9 months STRAIGHT! ;)
So, I for one am looking forward to getting my body back  Although, this is our last, so I probably will miss it at the end of the day.

Hmmmm, after 9 months of sickness, 6 months probably of heartburn and indigestion, 5 months prob of having to squeeze my knees together everytime I sneeze or cough (not good now with a cold either), constant burping and tiredness from running after and yelling at my 2DS's....... 2 very emotional births - one an emergency CS, the other DS rushed to NICU then flown from Tassie to Melbourne for 4 weeks........... let me see............................
You know what? With all the drama and heartache pregnancy and birth bring me, call me a crazy woman..... but I LOVE being pregnant... haha I don't love all the **** that comes with it but I do love the feeling of this little person growing inside me and love the kicks and punches throughout the day......
This is my last baby...... we have decided 3 will do us.... so I will be sad to never be pregnant again and have all these good feelings happening inside.

I dont think I will miss most of being pregnant but i will definately miss the kicks thru the day and even at night when i go to bed and he keeps me awake!
Those of you who are getting all the attention are very lucky! I must have missed the sign up for that  heheh. All i'm getting is "stop whinging you wanted a baby". But i guess that makes the kicks more special cause I can share those with someone even if i cant see him yet!
