False Positive

Hi everyone. This is my first time posting on any type of forum so excuse me if i make any mistakes.

I had a FET last Wednesday and am due to have my BETA tomorrow morning. Yesterday i caved and did a HPT and it was a BFN.

This morning however i did another and within 1 or 2 minutes it came up BFP!! But after over 2 years TTC i am a little sceptical so i did another one with (sorry if TMI) the tiny little bit of urine left in the cup i had used previously and of course BFN.

Was my first test a false positive or was there not enough FMU left in the cup for a proper reading on the second test?? I am going crazy waiting for tomorrow!

Were the tests all the same brand and sensitivity? Unfortunately, you may not be able to find out until tomorrow with your beta results...false positives are possible, and more so on certain brands (Fortel Ultra, Pregnosis in particular), so the bt will be the most accurate! Sorry cant be more help...its a tough part of the cycle, huh? Good luck! :)

thanks for your reply. yes both the tests were the same brand (pregnow) and sensitivity (and from the same batch.
at least i will know one way or the other by this time tomorrow i guess.

how long was the pee sitting in the cup? maybe it was too old or not enough there.
