Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has used Actilax drops for constipation (difficult passing and very hard when passed) - my son is 6 months old - is on formula and solids twice a day? Any side affects or anything to watch out for? My child health nurse suggested giving it a go but the pharmacist said it can cause distention, flatuence and stomach upsets?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Sorry I don't know about the Actilax. But just wondering what solids he is on? A friend of mine was giving her 7 month old daughter a weetbix for breakfast and it caused really bad constipation. She used stewed pears to help get her moving again (& stopped the weetbix), she may have used more than this, but I do remember her saying that the pears help keep her daughter regular.

Goodluck.
