b negative... do i need a needle?

Hello,
Just wondering if anyone out there has a negative blood group and knows if u need an anti d needle with any bleeding or only serious bleeding.. sorry about tmi.. but i have got a fair bit of brown blood. nothing on a pad just when i wipe. i dont know if i need to bother the hospital by going to get one or whether to just leave it....:confused:

if your DF isn't a neg then yes or if your unsure of his blood group..best to play it safe.:hugs:

I am O neg and my OB said if I have any bleeding no matter how much that I will need the anti-D injection.

Might be best to call your OB/GP or the maternity unit of your hospital.
