View Full Version : travel bands? any success?
I got some travel sickness bands - pressure point kind - for when we go on the road and they've worked for her. The pack says they may help with morning sickness. With DD I had nausea for 8-9 weeks and was put on Maxalon as I was losing heaps of weight - just wondering if anyone had a success with these, as I like the idea of no drugs (not that I need them yet lol)

 Nope, never worked for me, but then again, nothing really worked for me except rehydration via a drip at the hospital.
Try them, some people have success and you could be one of them.

I was really nauseus from around 6 weeks & the travel bands helped me more than Maxalon ever did. Well worth the money for me.
Oh yeah they've worked in both pregnancies .
Give them a go you might be lucky like me.:yelclap:

Hey there I have four children and was extremely unwell with morning sickness with each of them. I was told about travel sickness bands during my last pregnancy and they definatley worked for me still had bad nausea but was not throwing up all over the place. They are about 20$ at the chemist and worth every cent definatly wirth a try.

I found they def gave me some relief!
I'll definatly give them a go (whenever I get a chance ;) )
I had a virus and thought we'd had success and they helped with the nausea with that and DD loves not having to take travel sickness pills anymore - so they've worked for her too.
I picked up her set in Priceline for $10 so I'll get a set for me too!!

Hi, I had really bad morning sickness for 9 months ... I tryed everything. Maxolon tablets ,travel bands, ginger tea, everything I tryed didnt work so I guess I was unlucky and was stuck with it. It was a horrible 9 months of being pregnant.
They say when you have morning sickness it means that your baby will be very healthy.
Good luck hope your morning sickness gets better.
they didn't work for me but everything is different for everyone
they worked for me last time, not this time though... guess every pregnancy is different

No they didn't help me. I was throwing up from week 6 to week 13 & I tried lots of things but the only thing that stopped me throwing up was Maxolon & even then I still felt nauseous for my whole pregnancy but I was able to keep food down.
