i am finishing my BA.

it is a great all-rounder degree. big focus on skill learning, not just content.

I too have done a BA. I did it straight out of school, mainlt because i had no idea what I wanted to do. It will offer you a huge amount of variety and choice, though doesn't qualify you for anything in particular - you will need to do further study. I found it fantastic - i feel it really teaches you to think for yourself - the answers aren't all there in black and white. AlthoughI ahvn't officially 'done' anything with my degree, I am so, so glad I did it - it really helped me to grow. And it will always be there if I want to add to it.
Don't forget - whatever you decide to do you can always change your mind later - you are not stuck!!

Have a ball!!

I am slogging away at my second  BA. I guess though it depends on what it is you want to do with your degree...

Good on you who can study and have kids, I'm very impressed! :yelclap: I made sure I had all the study out of the way before the kid's came along. I've done a BA and half a Masters but really want to finish my law degree, when... I don't know, but it's a dream!

Can I also ask...
Did you study full or part time?
How many days a week did you go on campus and what time frame would you go for?
Cheers!

I have also completed a BA (double major in Psychology) but I did it before I had children. It was a great experience (I met my DH in 1st yr Psych lecture, 13 yrs ago) but had to do further study to be able to get a job in my field. I did it full time (worked part time) and was on campus 3-4 days/week (not full days though). Good luck with it!!

I studied full time (single and carefree!!) and I had 12 contact hours a week. I think that is pretty average as quite a few of my friends and other people I knew doing arts were doing about the same. Some semesters you can jam that all into 2 days!! Others it can be 4-5 days with only an hour or two hereand there. It all depends on the subjects you do and what lectures and tutorials you choose. Get in early putting your name down for tute times so you get the one you want!! I guess though, regardless of how many days you are there, you still have to do study for a full time load iykwim?
