Does anyone know where you can get 3D /4D ultrasounds done in Adelaide and approximately what sort of costs are involved? Has anyone had them done before? What were your thoughts during / afterwards? Are you glad you did it or do you have regrets?

Cool thanks I just looked at their site as well as fetal fotos. I am still months off doing it though. So would you mind after you have it done and get your photos, maybe coming back in here and letting me know how it went and if you were happy with the whole process and the images?
Thanks in advance  and good luck with it :flowerz:

hey just letting you know the place i went to were really good.
i havnt watched the dvd yet because df wants to watch the footy and wont let me watch it by myself so will have to tell you about that later.
the pictures they printed were great, he wasnt the most cooperative baby either so im happy with the result.
the best pics are before 32 weeks and im 34 weeks so there wasnt as much room for him to move.
all of the face pics are mostly half of his face because he was lying against the uterus. we did manage to get a few full face pics. the album they give you is really cute too.

Hi mummynow, fancy seeing you here!
With DD I went to fetalfotos and was very happy with my gold package. We went at 29weeks because I thought it might be nice to get 'action shots' but later thought maybe that 31 weeks would've been the go where you can focus on the face more...
The sonographer (Rose I think?) is FANTASTIC!! DD was nestled into the placenta as per usual (all my scans had her head buried in there) and I know that Rose had to work really hard to get the right angle and calculations etc to come up with clear facial shots... she did really well.
I'd do it again in a heartbeat! ... Maybe at 30 weeks!
I also went to Fetal Fotos.
You can see a few of DDs 31 week shots here: http://pic6.piczo.com/Cashew-Nut/?g=1
We also had a few done at 19 weeks (a few also on the web site above) from Bensons when we went for our routine scan, were lucky enough for them to offer. I thought the Bensons at North Adelaide still does them as they use the 3D scanners for other purposes so would still have them.
