sex and dilation!

ok, so, is it dangerous to have sex once you have started to dilate.? i mean, i have known people who were laready partially dilated before they even felt any contractions and was wondering, what if i have already started to dilate but dont know it. should i refrane from having sex just incase? or is it still ok?

Jess I'm sure the only time it's recommended you don't have sex is after your waters break...due to slight risk of infection, otherwise I think you're safe
