just having a moment!!

Hi,

My DH has just started a short term FIFO contract. Unfortunately he will be away about a month this time. We have just put our house on the market, have an almost 4 yo and almost 2 yo and I am 21 weeks pregnant. The last few days we have had several people come to look at the house (which is great) so I have had to keep it spotless and take the kids out - which is hard work!!! I haven't been sleeping well as I am finding it hard to get comfortable and DS2 is going through that stage where they like to push all boundaries. My energy levels are about 0 at the moment. I am so lucky I have some great friends - unfortunately we don't have family really close by.
But sometimes at the end of the day I just want to have a cry because I am so tired and my DH is so helpful. I admire you mums out there who do this all the time.
Maybe my pregnancy hormones are getting the better of me tonight but I just needed to have a poor me moment!!!! I'm sure tomorrow will be a better day - at least the kids can play again without me telling them to put things away every 5 mins!!

You are entitled to a poor me moment. It is hard work looking after 2 little ones plus being pregnant and selling your house. We have just gone through the selling house and moving thing and it is no easy task when you have kids. Try not to worry to much about keeping the house spotless, as long as it is tidy, most people understand. Hope you have a better day tomorrow.

i feel the same.. and my dh is only away for one week this time.. it suxs being alone at night! feels so alone! and everyone else works or is to busy! Hope you can make the most of it.. and enjoy the time when he gets back..:o:o
