Laxatives and breastfeeding?

Are they safe or not, any side affects??

i just asked this question at the chemist recently. pharmasist said laxettes/coloxyl not safe and better to use those fibre drinks to get things moving. He didnt say what side effects there were so i cant answer that one :)

Get some weethearts from your supermarket (you an sprinkle them on anything sweets dinner etc and cant taste them) otherwise get some benofibre, its like metamucil (sp??) but its got no taste so you can either drink it alone or with something

Bummer, i just bought some laxettes, better not take them. :( Can you just have metamucil if it's simliar to benofibre? I'll have to go out again later and get something else.
