I am going to put my DS who has been diagnosed with ASD on a preservative/Artificial colour-free diet and was wondering if anyone had any pointers for how to start. I am going to introduce it gradually and was thinking of starting with he bread as i have a bread maker. I looked on the bread mix recipes but none of them say they have preservatives but the front did not say "Preservative Free". Can someone tell me if they have preservatives under a different name?

Thanks

I'm sure Orgran is free of all artificial preservatives, colours, wheat, dairy etc.

The big preservative in bread is 282 but the others can still cause problems. All bakers delight / brumbies bread is free of 282. For a completely preservative free bread I'm not sure but if you go to www.fedupwithfoodadditives.com (http://www.fedupwithfoodadditives.com) they have a huge comprehensive list.:)
