I met DM's baby!

Hi all,

I went to visit Nat in hospital yesterday and little Eliza is the more gorgeous little cherub you ever saw. :) She seems so tiny because she spends most of her time curled up in a little ball on Nat's tummy. So precious! I suppose she's spent so much time like that in the womb that it is most comfortable for her.

Poor Nat had the most horrific birth experience and I will let her fill you in on the details, but her c-section was not straight-forward that's for sure. :(

Anyhoo... she plans to be home Thursday night. At the moment she is making the most of all the support she's getting from the hospital staff. I'm sure she's looking forward to getting back online. :thumbsup:

Poor DM! But sounds like it must have been worth it for her lovely little girl!

Cant wait to see pictures! How big is she? WOW, I can almost see her with the picture you described! :)

Indeed I do, Oscar's mum!

She was born on Saturday morning 8th April at 10.41am weighing 3.97kg (almost 9lb) and 52cm long. She has a head full of black hair and the cutest widdle button nose. :D

Nat was induced Thursday night so it was quite a long ordeal, and ended up with her needing blood transfusions (like I said, I'll let her fill you in) so she's been through the mill both emotionally and physically, that's for sure. :(

ohhhh, cant wait for her to be up and about and back on bub hub to let us know how she is, if you go visit her again - let her know we all say hello and wish her well!:hugs:

oh our poor nat :( she was so optimistic and looking forward to the birth so much, im just glad sweet little Eliza and Nat are ok :)

The good news is that Eliza slept all night in her little plastic cot last night :yelclap:.
She wasn't happy sleeping in the cot so Nat was worried about her sleeping in her bassinet when she gets home. And she is feeding really well, so hopefully she'll have a smooth transition home. :)
