I have absolutely loved my cloth wipes ... up until now when my son has started solids! :p I'm turning a bit green around the gills now its real poo!
I would love to know:
Do you use cloth wipes post-solids?
If so, how do you cope with it?
Do you squirt them as well as the nappy?
TIA! :p

I use cloth wipes and just scrape the poo off in the loo.
I know lots of people use a little squirt but im too much of a tight a$$ to buy it so just scrape instead.
DD has had diarreah (sp?) lfor the last week and I have used disposable wipes but prior to that if she had the runs I would just rinse in the laundry sink.

i use the wings of the nappy to wipe off the majority of the poo. then use 2 wipes for getting the rest. one wipe after is generally enough but the second i put some wipes solution on it more to make him smell nicer

Same, but I use powder after.
I have a squirt because my laundry tap is out of action.
I have only just started using cloth wipes a few weeks ago and I love it. Although we use sposie wipe when out
 post-solids poo is really quite a shock isn't it?!!!
I use cloth wipes even on my 2 year old and it's fine. Like the others I use the nappy wings for most of it which works really well, then just terry wipes (cheap face washers) with water.
I use my Little Squirt on them if they're really nasty, but can often get away with chucking them in the machine as I do a pre-rinse before washing.

then just use the little squirt to clean up the nappy cause the wings get the majority of the poo :)
easy!

No little squirt here:no:
so I use kleenex flushable wipes (usually only need 1) to get off the poo and this gets flushed with the bioliner from the nappy (and I don't have to scrape!).
Then I use the cloth wipes to get him properly clean and smelling nice again.
It works for us and my son's 15month old nasty poos anyway! I will be doing the little squirt thing soon when #2 bub arrives I think!
