Peg Perego Primo Viaggio-coming July!

Hi just thought I would let anyone who is intersted know, the Primo Viaggio carseat has FINALLY passed our safety standards here and will be available late July!:smiliedance::D Unfortunately the Bassinette that goes together as part of the Pliko modular system(pram carseat bassinette) will not be available in Australia yet as it has not passed the safety standards.
Be aware though, it has a hefty price tag. $449 for the carseat. It will have an adjustable base but its not yet known if it has the top tether that anchors into the car,(it hasnt arrived in Aus yet) though it is definately approved for use here:thumbsup:(please note carseats from the USA etc are not approved for use here, they have a specific one just for us :))

Colours available will be, Moka, Black bubbles, Green Bubbles, Red bubbles & possibly another(not pink though-wahhhh:crying:)

I cant find a pic of the one coming here but it will be almost the same, just go into the car differently.

I hope they bring in a car seat that can be rear facing up to 20kg soon that would be great!

yeah I agree! this one is to 13 kilos so one kilo more than the Unity, which I have. I think its only a matter of time til we get the better european carseats over here, & things like the Britax regent for older kids to be in 5 pt harnesses longer than 18 kilos.
