My almost 2yr old is bored

What can I do with my almost 2yr old?
She constantly asks for food when she is bored. She will not play by herself she constantly needs my attention and I am having trouble keeping her occupied while I am BF my 3 month old.
When she is being looked after by DH or other family she doesn't constantly ask for food, it's just me. Is it because Mummy is a push-over? Or is it because I have been the provider of food from day 1?

I know she's not hungry (her weight is in the top 90 percentile). I have tried ignoring her and distraction. It sometimes works for 10 minutes, then she starts asking to eat again:rolleyes:. It's driving me crazy:hair:

Putting tyler into day care 2 days a week was the best thing i could have done. She is a very active kid and gets bored very easy. We also go to play group once a week and try goin to the play center when ever we can. The frist thing tyler does is ask for yum yum when she wakes up. She never stops eating i had to try keeping her outta the kitchen

Hi, I have 21 mth old and a 6 mth old so I can understand that it can be tricky feeding :yes:
Have you tried having a box of special toys or books that only come out when you are breastfeeding?
With the food thing, I just tell my toddler that the kitchen is "closed" and she seems to understand that.
