What went wrong?

OK ladies I have just used one of my new cloth pad (http://www.clothpadshop.com/product.php?VP=23) (http://www.clothpadshop.com/product.php?VP=23)which was washed before it was made and I soaked it before I used it as well.

After I had used it I rinsed it under some cold water and then put it in a bucket of cold water to soak and then washed it with my normal cold water wash with out fabric softener.

But when I took it out of the wash the black velour has gone a light brown colour, is the normal for the velour to do this?

Sorry to ask but I'm only new to cloth pads and are not sure if it's meant to do this or if something is wrong with my cloth pad.

Dunno hun, I use a cup and haven't had anything to do with cloth pads, so I'm not much help. I'd be interested to read answers, though, because I've been considering getting some for days when I might leak.

hmm sounds bit strange

i have had clothes fade to light brown when they have been worn ALOT!

did you soak it in anything? or just the water?

maybe its just cheaps fabric that was used in it?

perhaps email the sellers and ask.

i havent had that happen with any of mine. i have been using my liners constantly at the moment and haven't had a problem.

This was the first time that I used it. I soaked it in just cold water :yes:

Hey there,

As long as you didnt use Napisan etc it should not do that, I would be emailing the seller if I were you, thats dissapointing.

Most cloth seller are pretty good about things like this though.
