TTC #2... how long?

DF and I will be TTCing later in the year, and I was just wondering, how long it took on average, to conceive #2??
Was it easy? Easier an quicker than #1? Or was it harder?
I just want to be prepared.... I worry that I won't be able to conceive #2 easily.

Hey Herchy. It took us 15 months ttc to fall pg with DD, second time around it's been 6 months and still trying but I have a feeling in my bones this time's gonna be quicker! Most ppl I know have conceived their second quicker than the first. Good luck for later in the year anyway!

DS2 took 19months

with ds i had just started 2end cycle on the pill and got pregnant
been ttc number 2 for 20 months with 1 m/c and 2 cycles of clomid and still ttc! good luck hun

I conceived DD after 6 weeks of coming off the pill, but unfortunately am up to my 11month at TTC#2 since having DD in March 07.

DD took 6mths to conceive and Bub#2 took 16mths to conceive plus I was on my first round of clomid. So for me it was definitely harder second time around but everyone is different!

For no #1 it was 3 mths and 6 mths for no #2

DS was a surprise, so we werent ttc, and I just got my BFP today for #2, so 18 months for #2. Come join us in the TTC #2 thread... :)

With DS (now 10.5 months) it took 2 cycles and with this one it took 1 week! :laughing:

Best not to worry about these things until the time comes. My doctor says to expect similar times at 1st pregnancy. Eg if you had no trouble the first time you should expect you'll probably fall pregnant within a few cycles.

Don't worry!! I'm even breastfeeding like 6-7 times a day still and it obviously made no difference to me.

cool I am still breast feeding and have pretty much fallen pregnant twice within a month. We never actively TRIED though. I am pretty laid back, so was just going with th flow, which is most likely how it will be this time:)

We had a dramatic difference with our first two.
DD1 took us 8 years of TTC.
DD2 took 2weeks to concieve (BD only once)

DS1 - 2 months

TTC#2 since July last year - this time diagnosed with PCOS and on 2nd cycle of Clomid.

I think everyone and every cycle is different so just relax, go with the flow and look forward to your BFP!!:wizard::babydust2:

DD took us about 3months (I think we only sh@gged once!). TTC #2 now: almost 14months on and still waiting for our :bfp:.

Definately frustrating knowing that #1 happened so easily :hair:
