How long did it take u to fall PG once TTC...

I'm just wondering how long it actually took you to fall preggers after you started TTC??? Just curious thats all, I know everyone is different...

We haven't been actively trying for long...but didnt use protection after the birth of our son in July 2005, and nothing has happened....

Since April we have been actively TTC...and nothing yet....so will let you know how long it takes when the time comes...

Not helping you I know, but no-one else has replied as yet....

We've been trying for over 2 years. My friend fell pregnant first month of trying.

we did 1 cycle last november and stopped after that, then resumed and did 3 cycles in the new year and fell on the 3rd cycle. I credit mine to the OV watch as everything else I used said I would O around day 20 and the OV watch predicted day 15, so we were missing it everytime.

I fell pregnant with DS first month trying...

And I fell pregnant with my angel baby the first month I come off the pill.... :thumbsup:

It took 2 years with our DS, and 3 years with our ectopic. I'm hoping for a lot less this time! :)

im sure ive read somewhere that most couples get pregnant within the first 6 months of trying... unfortunately for another percentage they take longer.. good luck for those ladies :)

My first was conceived while on the pill, second and third within the first month and ten years later i have just conceived my 4th in the 3rd month ttc, i think it's fair to say i am one of the very lucky ones! :)

But was told from the GP and FS that ttc is normal to take up to a year. FYI

Unfortunately not really as i didn't have to 'do' anything as such, they just happened. I was completely shocked this time round as i'm considered 'past it' in baby making years and my DP had never had children before so we didn't know how fertile he was, i was really expecting it to take up to a year but was blessed again.

Hi well i feel with my DS when i went off the pill mid cycle, must have been before O cause i fell pg that 1st 1/2month! LOL
DD C took 2 months and DD T took 3 months.

But for all of my kids i didnt stop the pill until i was TTC but this time i stopped the pill in march and we intend on TTC in July, so we'll see how it goes???

Four months it took us to fall pregnant but had a m/c at five weeks:( so now it is cycle five and i am hoping for a bfp this cycle, not sure how much luck we will have as i havent been tracking O but :fingerscrossed:

Oh and dont know how true this is??, but for "baylismum" i was under the impression that you are less likely to fall pregnant whilst breastfeeding?? Could just be an old wives tale though!!??

you have a 25% chance of conceiving each cycle.

hi, im not exclusively breastfeeding..my ds has 2 feeds a day solids all the other meals of the day, and no breastfeeds from 6pm-6am.

ive heard that breastfeeding only works as contraception if your ONLY breastfeeding..ie no other formula topups, solid feeds etc. Everyone is different though..ive heard of alot of people falling pregnant whilst still breastfeeding..

ive had my 21day bloods done, and im definately ovulating, so fingers crossed it will happen soon! :)

Yeah wasnt sure what the exacts were but have heard of people falling pregnant when they were breastfeeding, my best friend fell pregnant with her 5th when her 4th was only 3 months old and she was breastfeeding so guess it would just depend on your body!! Thought it may be something to consider anyway!! Imagine that though pregnant straight after being pregnant- scary thought. Good luck for this month!!!

I had been off the pill for about 8 months beforehand so I got to know my cycles pretty well, I wasn't overly tracking the cycles, just aware of when O was going to occur, because my cycles had been all over the place before having DS, I allowed le-way on both sides of predicted "O" date by two days.

We honestly didn't think it would happen first go, then again, DS#1 was concieved on the pill :laughing:

Bit of a long story but condensed ..... 3 months with first one which was a m/c then 12 months with my DD and then 4 months with next m/c and now ttc for 4 months so far!
