Hi Gals
My Name is Lana and I am 21. My DD is 12mths. :yelclap:
My DP and I are TTC #2 and I thought that rather than posting in the normal TTC thread i would create my own for all the other mums in the same position!!! I have been off the pill now for 2 weeks...hopefully we will be really lucky and get a 'positive' first time round...kinda doubt it tho....
So who else is also TTC #2...and what will ur age gap be??? (approx)

Hi Lana
I am Claire, am 29 and Mum to Emily who is 10 months on Thursday
DH (Kenny) and I have decided to TTC #2 again (we tried in Feb but gave up as we decided we weren't ready....a whole month and a bit later we have changed our minds :p !!). I am CD16 and I think I ovulated y'day but will have to wait for FF to update my chart.
Anyway :fingerscrossed: we both get our BFP's very soon!!
What did you do for your DD's b'day?? I need ideas for Emily as its not far away now :)

Hi Claire
Hehe yeah deciding when u are 'ready' is a hard one huh? We spoke about it for a fair while before going ahead with it...
For Amitys b'day i just had a small get-together...we invited family and her baby friends over to help us celebrate... We had streamers all over the house and made lolly bags for the adults... i put on a little bit of food too...just frankfurts, fairy bread and vegies and dips etc...
Oh and of course i made her a cake!!! I have never been so proud of myself in my life!!! That cake turned out damn good!!!
Well :fingerscrossed: for us both!!!!

Hi Lana
I am very impressed you made your own cake!! :chef: I know I have to make one for Emily's party but I think I might go to the cake shop for a back up!
I LOVE the idea of a lolly bag for the adults - I am glad I asked you now as I am defs going to do that. :D
Are you going to be charting and looking for ovulation signs or just go with the flow? I am using temps as a guide as I have been doing it for a few months now and am in the habit. I started when I weaned Emily to get an idea of what my cycle (or lack of at the time!) was doing. I seem to be back on regular cycles although they differ by a day or two in length at the mo. Its only been 3 months so I am not too worried.
I am quite excited about the thought of another baby, but find it hard to imagine loving another bubba as much as Emily. I know I will of course.
Are you planning on a big family? I think we will stick at 2 but you never know what the future holds ;)

what a great idea starting a TTC#2 thread... im mel and im 22, married to dan, and we have a 5.5month old son (brayden) we started trying for #2 in jan this year, as brayds took almost 2 years to concieve.... we are not worried about how small the age gap is. more worried about how LARGE the gap will be (hopefully not though!) anyway... good luck to all of us for TTC #2!
p.s we are not charting or anything, only going by CM.. due to my stupid irregular AF

Hi Mel
Great to have you here - :fingerscrossed: that you get your BFP asap. Are you BF Brayden? I didn't get my AF until Emily was 7 months and I had to wean her fully. I am taking Vitex and so far i am really impressed. I had really irregular periods when I came off the pill a few years ago and so was told to expect the same after childbirth. So far so good as I am almost back to my 28 days cycle!
I have to admit I am not very good at the whole cm thing but I am learning. It just seems that one month I get loads of EWCM which goes on for a few days and then this month I had one or two days and that was it. Ah well, I'll get there eventually
Claire x p.s. Lana and Mel - what totally GORGEOUS bubs you have.
no im not BF Brayds anymore, i fully BF him til he was 3 months then comp fed, then at 4.5months (a month ago) i went totally to bottle as we found out he has milk protein allergies and is on prescription formula. i (think) i got my AF back in jan, just after i started comp feeding bub. which is why we desided to start TTC in jan......

Hi gals,
Im not charting or anyting..just sorta gonna see where the wind blows us!! Hehe nah not really planning a HUGE family..2 - 3 would be our max..(i hav to say 3 just incase, as there is a very high chance i could conceive twins!)
Hehe yeh i thought that maybe having a TTC #2 thread would provide us 'experienced mothers with a place to chat!!! Plus we get to compare milestones etc at the same time..Its a pretty general thread actually!!
Hehe, i feel kinda silly asking this :o but im not really familiar with all the Lingo u gals all use...what do all the abbrev. actually stand for??

what a great thread. I've been posting on the TTC April thread but it goes way to fast. We've got ds who is nearly 10 months old. We've been TTC since christmas but in saying that I'm still bf and only got af back last month and again yesterday which was nearly 2 weeks late. Held my breath for 2 weeks but didn't want to get my hopes up either. Obviously my cycle just getting back to normal.
Hope this thread ends after just one short month
Good Luck ladies

Hi girls,
Can I be a thread hopper and post in both TTC threads, lol? :o
We have a son who is 9 months next week, so if we are successful this month, they will be about 18 months apart.

i'm mysonroger and i was on the TTC 1 but i'd rather be apart of the TTC 2........ i'm TTC No. 3. expecting my aunt flow on sunday but tested early today, against good advice , and got a negative. i don't get consumed by TTC (that's why i couldn't handle TTC 1) but i just felt nuseaus a couple of times lately. but got a negative. not worried. see what happens on the weekend and take it from there........ good luck everyone

Hey ladies
Welcome jacks mum, Mummabear and mysonroger!!!
Jacks mum and Mummabear it seems our lovely bubs are around the same age  .
Hopefully we'll all be on our way at the same time with #2 or #3 in your case mysonroger :fingerscrossed:
I am currently 3 DPO and so hopefully we've caught the eggie this month but we'll see.
Lana the abbreviations are all listed in Useful Site Info - here is the link
http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/showthread.php?t=5331
It took me ages to work out what everyone was saying too - I never understood BD (baby dancing = sex) and then found the link!
How are all our first bubs doing? Emily has finally (!) started teething which is horrible as she is clearly in pain, my poor darling. Her little pearly whites are quite sharp and are about 1mm through now. She has the bottom 2 coming up but I suspect that the top two are just about to break though the gums.
Have a GREAT EASTER WEEKEND ladies and mysonroger I have my fingers x'ed nasty AF doesn't arrive on Sunday for you!

i'm aiming for 3 under 3.,.... don't ask me why, and was secretly hoping i would have a baby before the end of this year, making it 04, 05 and 06 babies, but i think i've missed my chance. still time for 3 under 3 though.

hi there
I been off the pill now for 16mths. Our son is 4yrs old so hopefully we will get lucky soon. I had him when I was 25 and wasn't in an hurry to have another straight away thinking it would just fall pregnant when we decided to have another baby. With my first it only took 2 months after I came off the pill, so I never anticipated there ever being a problem. We are going back to the doctors on Wednesday to see where to go next. He ordered some blood tests to check my hormone levels and for PCOS on day three and 17-21 of my cycle, but haven't had a period in over two months so want to know what we should do.
Anyway this is a great thread, trying to conceive when you already have other children. It's a different scenario again. You love the child/ren you have to bits but dearly want to add to your family and have a sibling for your other child. You can often be left feeling guilty for wanting more.

hi
MY name is Janelle and we are trying to as well for number two, we have a four month old bub called Hananh. We are also not charting because i am VERY inrregular. I have about one period a year, so we were very lucky with little Hannah. This thread is much easier than the other april one. Hopefully we will give each other luck!!! Where is everyone from?? I am in Sydenham in Melbourne

Hi all,
CONGRATS Clairet and all the best with yr pg.
I was just wondering if any ladies here have PCO and have conceived without any assistance?
We conceived DD while on Chlomid (As I have PCO) and to our surprise naturally conceived DS but m/c a couple of weeks ago :( . I'm now a little scared that I won't be able to conceive naturally again... maybe it was a fluke!
