is anyone interested in creating a mothers group where we meet say once a week (more or less) just to get out the house chat and have a coffee maybe..

im in thomastown and dont have a playgroup so if anyones interested we can make "play dates" in this thread.

Im Rosie 22 with a 19month old and a 6week old.

tuesday afternoon, wed afternoon, thursday morning or anytime friday suits me... but my kids (and probably others too) have an afternoon nap, so maybe a morning would be best. that is just me, doesnt necessarily have to revolve around my schedule! lol!

Anyday except mondays are good for us....mornings between 9:30 and 11:30am are good but not opposed to any other times

Any day really suits me (except monday and wednesday)... Weekends are usually family time but if that suited other people to meet up on a sat/sun morning that would be fine :)

Anyway, we prefer mornings to and can do anyday but Tues or Thurs, although Tuesday is possibly doable. I probably couldn't commit to coming very often oina weekend, but if taht suited everyone else then I'd give it a shot.

This Friday is fine for me. Where do you think is a good place to meet? Maybe you could PM people from the 'Vic Suburb Roll Call' thread that live around our area and see if they are interested.

You pick a place and a time (preferably morning for us) and we'll be there :)

ETA: Weekends for us is family time so anytime during the week would be good. How early in the mornings are we talking? DD wakes up between 9 and 9.30. Is that too late for you guys?

Yeah it takes me a while to get DD ready as she is really picky with eating lately and takes aaagggess to eat her brekky.

just an idea, the new westfeild in sth morang is very parent friendly, would be a great meeting place, cafes, shops, kids playground right next to food court and awsome parents room for feeding/changing etc

Pretty sure its half under cover (but must admit didnt take too much notice as my DD is only 9wks old!!!!!!!!) but there is also a small play area out front of target too

the playgroup is just outside from the foodcourt. we could meet near the door of the playground? i have my pram ribbon on a bag with my dd name on it lol i think i will get my dh too look after ds if he doesnt want to come coz its to hard with both. :p

DF lost his license so I have to drive him to work on Friday and he starts at 11.30am so by the time I get home it'll be after 12.

Im hoping to organise something by next Friday so if we're going to make it a weekly thing, then I most definately will be there next week.

If anyone will be there after 12, I can still come, but Im guessing most of you will be gone by then......

Awww I went but a bit later. We all slept in, so I had to take DF to work and got there at 12.

That playground is HUGE! DD had soo much fun!

Oh and I love all the parents with prams parking. There are soo many! :yelclap:

I dont think I can do it before 12 if we have another meet.
