Did any1 go to the Sydney baby expo last week? I missed out the weather was crazy and my baby Daniella was sick so i couldnt take her out in the cold! :rain:

Was it any good? Any freebies? :party:

There were heaps of samples. got a whole bag full) some of the stands you had to ask for them while others were giving it to you. it was the first time i went and i found it good (with the free ticket!) but seen it to be more for pregancy. wish i had went last year b4 Bella was born!

Yes it does :)

I went, but didn't really look around for freebies - I was working at a cloth nappy stand. I bought some lovely itti bitti d'lishes though! Oh, and some babylegs for DD1. She loved the petting zoo.

I wen to the Sydney one. I thought it was crappola really. Not much to offer except novelty stuff, and most of the other stuff you could find out about at baby stored.

last year was better

not much at all this year.
i did get a few nappies though from the nappy stores that were there

Don't really get involved in these discussions much but this one is close to my heart. I have 2 kids under 4 and have been to the baby show in Brissy for the last 3 years. It is great! The freebies are fantastic, and they have great bargains on photos (which I normally can't afford). I usually take my mum so she can get a second round of freebies. I only taken my kids once and the babies room is a huge area sectioned off with some play equipment, heaps of chairs and mats. With the free ticket that I get via the net it is the best day out, worth taking a day off work for.

I went to the Sydney one and thought it was pretty pants to be honest. Was expecting more freebies... instead you had to buy stuff if you wanted anything from the stands :thumbsdown: Glad I didnt pay to get in!!

i went up with my mum on saturday after lunch

double prams scare me!

they are all SOOO big
im just going to use my strider and a sling for the time when bubs a newborn and see hoe i go from there.
