Don't have a title but need your opinions please girls!

So DS is TT'd through the day and we've been using sposies at night because I'm, well...... lazy :o BUT as I only shop fortnightly we were a few nappies short this fortnight so the last 2 nights I've put him in a BBB. Tonight he's in the last sposie.

Now because it's winter, I don't want to try him in just undies overnight cos I reckon he'll freeze if he wets the bed and I have to change sheets and him etc etc in the middle of the night so need to keep using nappies at night.

I only have 2 BBBs though and the one he wore 2 nights ago wasn't dry for him to wear tonight, hence why he's in the last sposie. Now, I'm thinking it's going to be at least another 5 months before I can try him in just undies overnight, so I think I should just invest in a few more BBBs.

So the question is - how many do you think I should buy? I mean, given that I've got 2 already and washing every day means that they're still not dry in time to be used again when needed?

What about going some pockets with a handfull of inserts that way the nappies will be dry & you have a larger rotation of inserts ?

Otherwise if you do just wanna stick with the BBB's then i would say grab another mmmmm 4 maybe as a good rotation & then you can always be assured of a dry nappy at nite !

Hmmm not sure on the pockets. Although I have some peapods that I lent to a gf who just had a baby but they won't fit her bub for another year at least. Might ask for them back.

Just thinking on the money side iykwim especially when its possibly only for another few months if you have a kid that nite trains well !

Also looking at it from the winter aspect the joys of pockets are that they dry soooo quickly even in the colder months & as i said having extra inserts so say 3 nappies then 9 inserts means you can have some in use, some in the wash & others waiting iykwim.

But that being said i do love BBB's for nite as they are just so thirsty ! Plus they will always be handy for any new arrivals ;)

Yep well we're planning on a new arrival next year some time so the BBBs wouldn't go to waste at all. But then again I've already got Peapods I could use.....

Hmmm - methinks I might order maybe 2 more BBBs and see how I go. As much as I love the BBBs for their thirstiness it's a pain in the bum to get them dry. I washed the first BBB yesterday morning, hung it inside in front of the heater all day yesterday, last night and today and tonight threw it in the dryer 3 times and it was still damp!!
