Traditions are only as good as what they mean to you ... its your wedding so you get to choose exactly how it should be done.

And I think its a beautiful idea for you to choose your wedding dress (outfits) together!

If there is a traditionalist in the wedding party horrified by the whole idea, maybe add some sort of secret twist that hubby (to be) doesn't know about! A special garter, lingerie or something???

After all, you already have children together! Your lives are entwined ... how appropriate are all of the traditional dos and don'ts?

I think it doesnt matter you can start new traditions for your weding...
After all you want your husbands approval on the day more than anyone elses.. So he should help you pick the dress.... That he and you both tink you are beautiful in!

Good Luck!

If it means a lot to you then make him part of the decision.

It's your special day so you do what you want!

When my DH & I were planning our wedding, he surfed the net for different wedding dresses in the style that I wanted (backless) & emailed them to me - I was living in Adelaide & him in Sydney. One of the dresses I absolutely loved so he called up a wedding dress shop & had them order it in. The next time I was in Sydney, we both went dress shopping. I tried on quite a few dresses & ended up going with the one that he had emailed to me. :bee:
